Writing Blog Posts From A Personal Point Of View

Blog Guys JigsawI have always felt that when we write something in a simple, honest way- it touches someone’s heart. Of all the columns, blogs, articles, books, newspapers, magazines, I have read till today; the ones that touched me the most were the ones that were just complete in themselves. I mean to say they didn’t pretend, they didn’t show off, they accepted their limitations, they were silent yet assertive, they had a dignity and poise of emotions and reality.

I know it sounds like I am talking about a person but I am actually talking about articles and blogs. Every piece of column/post has an identity of it’s own. It has a world of it’s own. It captures a life’s moment just like a camera captures a moment and preserves it forever. So I feel, when we are writing something- we should treat it in a very individual way. We should try, as much as possible to give every post a body.

Blogging In The Age Of Digital Curation

Blogging in the Age of Digital CurationThe practice of blog curation is a magnificent asset to bloggers and content marketers as they seek to find and share great content.

What is blog curation? It's the practice of sifting through vast amounts of digital content from a variety of sources, and then cataloging and presenting the most meaningful pieces to users in a convenient, valuable format. One of the reasons blogs have thrived is because they deliver content of high interest to a specific audience. If you can pull together a wide array of information and distill it into meaningful tips and actionable items – and then index those into easily accessible categories – your blog will grow (maybe skyrocket) in popularity.

The Simplest Yet Most Effective Guest Posting Strategy To Follow This 2013

If I think about traffic, organic traffic comes to be my favorite. I love it more than any other methods of traffic, mainly because of its consistency. I also appreciate the power of social media, subscribers and direct visitors as a source of traffic for my blog, but I have observed that organic traffic have proved to lead to much more conversions.

You just need to plan a perfect strategy for your blog and then implement it with efficiency and can enjoy the sweet fruits of organic traffic almost forever.

And if I think about my favorite link building strategy, then guest posting is what comes into my mind. I have been writing guest posts for various blogs for a long time, but my primary intention was never link building. I love to write and reach as large audience as possible and provide them with the best quality content possible.

But, I have seen many guest bloggers, who are almost spoiling this guest posting environment, by taking it in the wrong way. Providing low-quality 500 words, spun-like articles and writing articles only for the sake of getting backlinks, is never the principles of guest posting.

They probably do not understand the essence of guest blogging and make a complete mess of not only their own blog but also the host blog. In this article, without giving “hard SEO slogans”, I will try to make guest blogging strategy as simple and as easy as possible.

Touching Your Audience With Compelling Blog Posts

Blogging is about a lot more than just writing some information, sharing a press release, or a “how to”.Truly captivating blogging is an art form; it’s storytelling, theater, and education all rolled into one… it’s a science and an art form all rolled into one.

This means that you can write the most brilliant, intellectually stimulating, informative blog posts in the world, but if they can’t capture people’s imagination, and hold their attention, they’re pretty much worthless.

As an example of this, try reading a 500 page data book… then try reading a biography or fiction novel filled with images, plot twists, vivid image descriptions, emotional connections, and all the elements of the human experience.
